Facebook was born 21 years ago. So what?

Back then, no one thought that posting “Out to buy bread” would change the world. But BOOM! The creative economy has never been the same. Content creators, marketers, and desperate interns started fighting for clicks, likes, and shares like they were in the digital Hunger Games.

📌 Here’s what we learned from this:

1️⃣ Master the algorithm or be enslaved by it – Facebook (and later Instagram, TikTok & Co.) showed us that those who understand the rules of the game win. Those who don’t… well, they keep posting, thinking that “organic still works.” (Spoiler: it doesn’t.)

2️⃣ Privacy? Haha, how cute! – Facebook made us realize that our data is more valuable than vibranium in Wakanda. If the product is free, you are the product.

3️⃣ The world belongs to the creatives… but only to the strategic ones – Creativity alone doesn’t sell. What sells is creativity applied with strategy. The creators who dominated Facebook, like Gary Vee or Mr. Beast, figured this out long before anyone else.

💡 The moral of the story?
Facebook didn’t just redefine the internet — it showed us that innovation happens wherever people’s attention is. Today, it’s TikTok. Tomorrow, it could be the metaverse (or not, right Zuck?). The key is to understand the cycles and stay ahead of the game.

What about you? Are you building the next Facebook or just another NPC in someone’s feed?
