When Your AI Stops Helping and Starts Acting Up

The future belongs to smart agents who don’t wait for orders — and here’s how you can be the conductor of this concert.

You buy a smart bulb, say “turn on,” and it doesn’t respond — because it already turned on before you asked. That’s the power of agents that anticipate. At the Future Festival 2025, we talked about this: AI that acts on its own initiative, not just on command.

💡 What matters today:

  • Algorithmic proactivity: agents that decide to offer suggestions or take actions without explicit prompts.

  • Limits of initiative: when does acting become intrusive? What levels of autonomy are acceptable?

  • Creative responsibility: defining who “activates” the agent, who monitors, and who corrects.

🎯 Mission:
Choose a routine of yours (schedule, organization, editing) and imagine an agent that would do something proactive for you (without asking). Write the “initiative script” for that agent and the cut-offs (when it shouldn’t act). Post it in your stories.

💰 Reward:
+1 XP in Proactive Autonomy
+1 Action Agent activated
